How do you make the foam rise?

For this step you need a shaving brush and its bowl.

- If you are using a natural hair shaving brush. Soak your shaving brush in warm water for 5 minutes to soften the hair.
- Add a little warm water (a thin film) to the shaving soap
- Drain the excess water from the shaving brush
- Take the shaving brush and use circular motions on the soap. After about 20 seconds, enough foam should have formed
- Apply the foam to the face using circular motions to thicken the foam and spread it out.

PS: If you have not used pre-shave oil, the foam should be applied to a moistened face.
